Plain-English guide
How do I cancel an OnlyFans subscription?
Turn Auto-Renew off for the specific creator subscription. That stops the next renewal while access remains for the period you already paid.
You are stopping renewal, not deleting your account
Cancelling a subscription normally means turning Auto-Renew off for one creator. It does not automatically delete your account or affect another subscription you may have.
How to cancel an OnlyFans subscription
- 1. Open the creator page. Choose the specific subscription you want to stop renewing.
- 2. Open subscription settings. Look for the controls for that subscription.
- 3. Turn Auto-Renew off. Confirm that the next renewal is no longer active.
- 4. Check the end date. Keep note of how long access remains for the period already paid.
What happens after you turn Auto-Renew off?
Turning Auto-Renew off stops the next renewal. Access remains for the period already paid, and the next charge for that subscription is not made after that period ends.
Stopping a future renewal is not an automatic refund for a period that has already been paid. For a specific charge, check the platform terms and support options.
The 14-day cooling-off right, and why a subscription falls outside it
EU law gives a consumer 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason. It is the same right that lets you send back a jacket you ordered online — Article 9(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
Digital content is carved out of it. Article 16(m) of the same directive removes the withdrawal right where supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium has already begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and their acknowledgement that the right is thereby lost.
That is precisely what a subscription is: you pay, access opens immediately, and the box you accept before paying is the consent the article describes. Once the content has been opened, the 14 days no longer exist.
So cancelling stops the next charge — it is not a refund mechanism, and there is no statutory withdrawal right over a period you have already paid for. That is the rule as written, not a platform decision. A charge you believe is simply wrong — a double charge, or one taken after you cancelled — is a different matter: that is an incorrect transaction, and it goes to platform support and, if needed, your bank.

Frequently asked questions
The short answers.
How do I cancel an OnlyFans subscription?+
Open the creator subscription settings and turn Auto-Renew off. You keep access for the period already paid, and the next renewal is not charged after that period ends.
Does cancelling delete my account?+
Not necessarily. Cancelling here means stopping automatic renewal for one subscription. Account deletion is a separate action.
Can I claim a refund within 14 days, like any other online purchase?+
Not for a subscription that activated immediately. The 14-day withdrawal period in Article 9(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU does not apply to digital content supplied without a tangible medium once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that the right is lost — Article 16(m). Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the current period.
Do I get an automatic refund if I cancel?+
Turning off the next renewal does not automatically refund a period that has already been paid. Check the platform terms and support options for a specific charge.
